Prepare the Matcha
Sift 1-2 teaspoons of ceremonial grade matcha powder into a matcha bowl or small cup to prevent clumps and ensure a smooth texture.

Whisk Matcha
Add 60ml of hot water, heated to about 70-80C (158-176F), to the sifted matcha powder. Whisk vigorously with a bamboo whisk (chasen) or a small electric frother in a W or M motion until a smooth, frothy layer forms on top.

Heat Oat Milk
Gently heat 240ml of oat milk in a saucepan over medium heat until it is hot but not boiling. Alternatively, microwave it for 1-2 minutes until warm.

Froth Oat Milk (Optional)
If desired, use a milk frother, an immersion blender, or vigorously shake the warm oat milk in a sealed jar to create a frothy texture for a creamier latte.

Assemble the Latte Base
Pour the frothed or warm oat milk into your serving mug. If using sweetener, stir it into the oat milk now until fully dissolved.

Combine and Serve
Slowly pour the prepared whisked matcha over the frothed oat milk. For an iced latte, add ice to the glass before pouring the oat milk and then the matcha. Serve immediately and savor your homemade Matcha Oat Milk Latte.
